42ND ANNUAL ART EXHIBIT AND JUDGED COMPETITION
Saturday & Sunday October 8 & 9, 2016

Raintree Arts Council hosts its 42nd Annual Art Exhibit and Competition during the Applefest in Clarksville, MO on the weekend of October 8 & 9. We welcome artists to enter and exhibit their latest original artworks, there will be cash awards for all sections of the competition. Accepted media: oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, drawing, printmaking, photography, collage/montage, ceramics, fiber art, glass sculpture, wood carving, and metal sculpture.

This year the art will be judged by Natalie Rupp, she’s a 2013 University of Dallas cum laude graduate earning a BA in Art with an emphasis on painting and art history. She currently resides in St. Louis; she paints and teaches art in her studio at The Foundry Art Centre in St. Charles, MO. The judge’s awards and critique reception will be at 6:30 Friday Oct. 7th, the public are invited to attend. Adult work should be delivered to the Apple Shed before Wed. Oct. 5th, 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. or Thurs. Student work should be delivered to Cindy Logan at 1905 Georgia St., Louisiana. MO by Sept. 29, 2016. Students work is restricted to a certain size, it must be 9” x 9” and mounted on 10” x 10” black construction paper. Rules and entry forms are available online HERE

COLORFEST YOUTH ART SHOW
October Sat. 15th ~ 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. & Sun. 16th ~ 11a.m. - 3 p.m.
At Lesleys Hallmark 600 Georgia St, Louisiana MO

Raintree Arts Council will present a Student Art Show and Competition during Louisiana’s Colorfest. The Bank of Louisiana is sponsoring the awards for this show and the exhibit will be at Lesley’s Hallmark, 600 Georgia St, Louisiana, MO. The judge will be a qualified, professional artist. Student artwork entries must be delivered on Tues. Oct 11, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. to Cindy Logan at 1905 Georgia St., Louisiana. MO

RAC’s 42nd Annual Art Exhibit & Judged Competition and the Youth Art Show at Colorfest have been Funded in part by the Buffalo Township United Fund.
