43rd Annual Art Exhibit and Competition

At the Apple Shed Galleries, Hwy. 79, Clarksville MO

Raintree Arts Council hosts its 43rd Annual Art Exhibit and Competition during the Applefest in Clarksville, MO on the weekend of October 14th and 15th. We welcome artist to enter and exhim their latest original artworks – entries to be dropped at the Appleshed on Wednesday 11th from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. and Thursday October 12th from 4- 7:30 p.m. There will be cash awards for both amateur and professional divisions as well as photography. Accepted media: oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, ink, pencil, printmaking, photography, collage/montage, ceramics, fiber art, sculpture.

This year’s exhibit will be judged by Craig C. Hoffmann who has a studio in Wentzville. There will be a judge’s critique and remarks on Friday, Oct. 13th at 6:30 p.m. at the Appleshed.

Student work should be delivered to 1905 Georgia Street – Louisiana, Missouri by October 2nd. The student work must be 9”x9” and mounted on 10” black construction paper and marked with student name, grade, school, teacher in 18 point Times New Roman.

Colorfest Show YOUTH art show sponsored by Bank of Louisiana will be held October 21st and 22nd in Lesley’s building at 600 Georgia Street, Louisiana, MO.

Student entries are due by Tuesday, October 17th to 1905 Georgia Street.
